This year the last edition of Ecomondo ended positively and ESA presented some of its most innovative solutions for the world of waste. The 23rd edition of Ecomondo, the reference trade fair for industrial and technological innovation in the circular economy, which recently recorded the highest number of foreign visitors, has just ended in Rimini We at ESA presented to the many professionals of the sector who came to our stand 2AS, the bilateral single-operator waste collection system, and the preview of the new above the ground containers, made of up to 40% recycled HDPE, environmentally friendly, equipped with modern UHF and GPS technology and suitable for green purchases. Great curiosity was also aroused by the two photovoltaic products, the modern roll-off compactor KS7 and T-Recycle, the vehicle with pedal assist system for waste collection in city centers and parks, and by the technological column for disposal of waste oil, Emilia. This edition has also seen us protagonists of "Water, Energy, Waste, Mobility", the business forum on cooperation between Italy and Egypt on the sustainable management of North African territory resources in the circular economy, organized by the Ecomondo Technical Scientific Committee in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Cairo and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. The convention has also seen the participation of Tamer Mostafa Ali, Chief Cabinet Officer of the Egyptian Ministry of the Environment, and of a large delegation of Egyptian speakers. We brought our experience on Egyptian soil in the design and construction of civil waste water purification plants and waste collection systems, which respond to the needs of management and enhancement of local resources in a green perspective and in harmony with the context. We also take the opportunity to sincerely thank all those who came to our stand.
ESA, together with Urban Eco Moving , participated in EcoFira 2019 , the Valencia exhibition dedicated to the environmental field that promotes modern eco-technologies. The exhibition, held in Valencia from 1 to 3 October 2019 , in which we participated together with our Spanish dealer Urban Eco Moving , aroused great interest and saw the participation of professionals working in the waste logistics sector. The exhibition was the occasion to present 2AS , 2 Automatic System, the innovative bilateral single-operated collection system, composed for the occasion by the robotic system and the roll-off compactor. Able to empty all types of containers on the market in less than 90 ", 2AS combines technology, respect for the environment and economic advantage for the manager.
National Assembly of Bio-Architecture
The National Institute of Bio-Architecture chooses Ecologia Soluzione Ambiente as the venue for the national assembly of its members. Our head office has been chosen by INBAR, the National Institute of Bio-Architecture , as a meeting place on 12 July 2019, since it's an example of recovery of an existing building and of valorization of the artistic and cultural heritage of the area. Respect for the environment, sustainability and environmental requalification are an integral part of Green entrepreneurship and ESA values, also shared by the association of bio-architects.
ESA has recently concluded its participation in the 22nd edition of Ecomondo, which has seen the company attending with two stands: in the first one it displayed the robotized crane with the container washer, the new MEC, Mobile Environmental Center, the Greeny for the collection of PET and HDPE with incentive systems, a wide series of above-ground containers for every material and the pedal assisted cargo bike in its T-Waste version, dedicated to separate waste collection in limited traffic areas. Inside Sustainable City ESA has displayed TCargo in the T-Deliver version for its french client UPS. ESA can definetely say that the success of this year's edition of the leading event about Green and Circular Economy has been bigger than the previous years, thanks to the costant contribution of innovation and technology. The company has in fact shown for the first time its MEC (Mobile Environmental Center) dedicated to the collection of Electrical and Electronic Waste and its Greeny, a compactor for PET and HDPE bottles with incentive systems. Inside Sustainable City TCargo, the photovoltaic pedal assisted cargo bike, demanded by a great logistics company such as UPS, has shown that a delivery service can be done with zero impact and in total respect of the environment, which is the principle with which ESA always works.
GO-GO ecological stations in Roccaraso
ESA proceeds with the production of the new stationary ecological stations from the GO-GO series, the latest installed in the Municipality of Roccaraso. Last August the new GO-GO ecological station in via Napoli was inaugurated. The results obtained are giving reason for the road taken by the current municipal administration, the broad consensus obtained, thanks to the use of the system, is proof of this. To simplify the waste transfer operations, the many tourists who have chosen to vacation in the tourist center of Alto Sangro have decided to opt for the use of a stationary ecological station. The choice made is a clear expression of a series of decisions aimed at supporting the virtuous cycle of separate collection. GO-GO ecological stations are a convenient alternative to the traditional collection system without calendar restrictions. The GO-GO station is essentially a transfer station equipped with automatically operated nozzles, which can be activated by reading the medical card. The technological contribution of the integrated surveillance system allows detailed control of the contributions. The possibility of customizing the structure makes it possible to return the investment thanks to advertising or possibly greater integration of the same in the urban context for which it is intended.
Lucca underground stations 4L series
ESA and Sistema Ambiente S.p.a., the Lucca-based society in the field of waste management, are continuing their cooperation. Two underground stations aimed at collecting both separate and unsorted waste were inaugurated. The stations have been installed in Piazzetta delle Poste and Via della Zecca, spots located at the core or the city’s historic centre. The two units, belonging to ESA’s 4L series, are able to host 4 dumpsters aimed at collecting waste, and are equipped with an innovative user-friendly interface. To ensure the exclusive use to the residents of the historical city, each station has been provided with a system able to recognize every single user, verify his presence within a whitelist update twice a day, record the giving and open and close automatically the unit through a specifically designed pneumatic circuit. ESA will also ensure the post-sale management, which will be provided by both trained personnel and a series of electronical systems allowing the remote control and the oversight of the status of the equipments. Thanks to this it will be possible to run a diagnostic and to instantly intervene to fix the eventual problem if necessary. These two installations enter the municipal administration project’s of increasing the overall number of units all throughout the city in its final stage.
ESA has recently completed the installment of a brand-new system for the treatment of wastewater in the Felitto, a small town numbering 2,000 inhabitants in the province of Salerno. Felitto is nestled within the Cilento National Park, an area largely appreciated also abroad. For this reason, ESA has decided to rely on products belonging to the line CITY2O, which are particularly versatile and suited areas under environmental protection. The most innovative aspect of the whole system, which is also its major peculiarity, involves the type of features used to the restraint of each stage of the treatment. ESA has provided to the supply of the entire system of treatment, including a lifting station with delivery setting, mechanized grid, pre-denitrication, oxidation, secondary settling and final disinfection. The use of prefabricated, modular and sectional features made of polyester fiberglass has turned out to be the best way possible to satisfy the client’s specific needs. This has, in fact, granted the possibility to put the whole system under the ground, sharply reducing the environmental and visual impact and guaranteeing the total preservation of the area’s huge and biodiverse landscape.
Ended with a positive record for ESA, which marked the eighth participation to an event that has rightly become a can’t-miss event to any company operating in the business of the management of waste. Testament to the fact that ESA is on the right path, numerous bystanders decided to stop visiting the company’s stand. Among them was also the Italian Environment Minister, Mr. Gian Luca Galletti. At the kermesse, ESA has presented three innovative products aimed at the multi-utility business: 2sidesystem, Go-Go e T-riciclo. 2SIDESYSTEM Ecomondo is the place where businesses can meet competitors in complementary markets and leading players in public research in Europe and the Mediterranean area to establish national and international partnerships in the implementation of a knowledge-based Green and Circular Economy. 2sidesystem comes from this background and frame. The system, to which ESA contributes by supplying an innovative, totally mechanized crane able to manage smartly and cleverly the waste collection. 2sidesystem is the result of a partnership agreement ESA has initialed with Spain’s Contenur, a European leading provider in the urban waste sector. esa 2sidesystem Go-Go is a state-of-the-art recycling depot conceived and designed to be easy portable. Solar-powered, Go-Go is perfect for areas particularly crowded with people. Go-go is marked by the right balance of capacity and ease of use. On the one side, it could be placed in strategic areas that are easy to get to – as, for instance, parking spaces. On the other side, it’s very user-friendly and could be easily used by anyone, thanks to a device able to recognized each user. In the end, Go-Go allows to monitor constantly the amount of waste given. T-RICICLO T-riciclo In all likelihood, T-riciclo is the product that best epitomizes ESA’s philosophy: cutting-edge technology, research and innovation working for the environment. T-riciclo is ESA’s first vehicle with pedal assistance aimed at the waste management business. Owing its extreme adaptability, the T-riciclo format can be used also in non-waste business like that of street food. At Ecomondo, a version customized for the food business was presented successfully. Another step forward towards a greener world to live in.
