CeStò Turns One in Rome
25 June 2025A responsible journey towards the future, combining practical solutions, cutting-edge technologies, and environmental care
Ecologia Soluzione Ambiente SpA (ESA), a leading company in the design of urban waste management solutions, closed 2024 with strong growth driven by a strategy based on investments in research, advanced production technologies, and the enhancement of human capital. This path confirms the company’s commitment to consistently pursue the innovative vision set by its founder.
Green Innovation for the Urban Environment
ESA’s ongoing commitment to sustainable innovation translates into technologically advanced solutions designed to meet the concrete needs of public administrations and environmental managers. The use of recycled materials, such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), represents a strategic choice aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting a real, applied circular economy.
Among the most significant innovations, ESA has developed a complete line of street containers and bins for separate waste collection made from recycled HDPE. These products, compliant with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) established by the European Union, are fully recyclable and ensure an extended lifecycle, contributing to reducing dependence on virgin raw materials.
A distinctive feature of ESA’s offering is its focus on urban safety. The new bins are made of HDPE V0, a self-extinguishing material that reduces fire risk—ideal for high-traffic public areas. One of the most representative projects is CeStò: compact, durable, and already adopted in several Italian cities, it enhances urban order in complex contexts. Thanks to its patent pending, CeStò can be equipped with a lighting system powered by photovoltaic panels, combining urban safety with sustainability.
Organizational Milestones in ESA’s Growth
The company’s growth has been accompanied by significant organizational achievements. In 2024, ESA introduced a new internal model focused on valuing people, obtaining the UNI/PdR 125 certification on gender equality and successfully passing the ESG Assessment, demonstrating its commitment to environmental, social, and governance criteria. These recognitions add to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and SA8000 certifications, which confirm compliance with international standards regarding quality, environment, workplace safety, and social responsibility.
ESA thus confirms its vocation to lead change in the environmental sector, contributing to the development of more sustainable, safe, and smart cities through concrete solutions that combine technology, ecology, and social responsibility.
