GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY

A day to discover modern waste collection

On the occasion of the World Recycling Day, ESA hosted at its headquarters the guys of the C.I.O.F.S. of Bibbiano. The aim of the meeting was to raise awareness among young people about separate collection and modern collection systems. In particular, they were shown the collection system 2AS – Two Automatic System combined with the recycled and recyclable plastic container.

The young people had the opportunity to spend the day observing the various phases of the company’s production processes but above all to approach this new and innovative collection method. In addition to the vision of the medium in the process of emptying the container, there was talk of the importance of optimizing the separate collection, as a correct collection of waste allows to re-fill the recycled material in new productions. A suitable example is certainly the ESA hdpe container because thanks to the recovery of the plastic it is made of it is able to create a new product, also technological.

It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss, with students and professors, on a subject that is particularly close to our hearts: the recovery of materials.
