Ecomondo 2021

After two years of forced stop, ESA returns to Ecomondo and presents an awaited novelty for waste collection.

The 24th edition of Ecomondo, the reference event in Europe for technological innovation and green economy, which is back in presence after almost two years of pandemic, has just ended in Rimini.

ESA, for the occasion, exhibited the complete 2AS System to the numerous professionals of the sector, showing the conspicuous research and development work carried out in recent years, and presented a particularly awaited novelty: the MULTI-MUSHROOM CLAMP, capable of lifting all containers on the market, above-ground and underground, equipped with Kinshofer hook and now also F90. The new clamp, designed to operate with extreme speed and precision, finally frees Customers to choose vehicles and containers without obligations or ties.

2AS, the automatic and single-operator equipment for bilateral waste collection, thus confirms itself as the system with the most complete range on the market, which can be combined with the well-established smart containers in recycled HDPE, in the Standard and Slim versions, and the new underground containers for areas of architectural prestige, all customizable with the hook at the discretion of the Customer.

The equipment, compatible with all methane, hybrid and electric powered trucks, is the GREEN and INTERCONNECTED solution for Smart Cities; integrable with all waste logistics technologies, it contributes to the reduction of emissions into the atmosphere thanks to the management software that defines the best path, avoiding unnecessary emptying.

To complete the solutions for waste logistics, the K-Solar roll-off compactor with controlled access, particularly suitable for urban separate collection during events or utility peaks, self-powered by the photovoltaic panels on the roof.

Collaboration with Gruppo Hera was at the center of ESA’s participation in the event, thanks to the display at the main entrance of a Group’s vehicle, set up with the robotic system, used by the municipal company in the historic center of Rimini, and a customized nozzle of a 2AS underground in the Uniflotte stand, already present in various locations in the city.
